Parental (guardian) consent

We work with children and teenagers under 18 only with the written consent of a parent or legal guardian.

1. What the consent covers

  • Which services will be provided: counselling, assessment, group sessions.
  • Which methods are used and how the results will be shared.
  • Who can see the results — by default, only the parent.
  • The right to withdraw at any time.

2. The child's agreement

We explain to the child in simple words what will happen and ask for their agreement. A child can stop at any moment, and we respect that.

3. Work in schools

In school programmes, consent is collected through the school before work begins. Students whose parents have not consented do not take part in individual assessment. The school receives only anonymised summary reports; a child's personal results are shared only with the parent's separate consent.

4. Withdrawing consent

Consent can be withdrawn at any time by writing to [e-mail] or telling the centre's administrator.
